Although Lee had done some commercial art to provide income for her family, it was not until after the loss of her son in a tragic auto accident that she turned to art for therapy. Her art reflects this spirit of life and healing. Now her figures, hand-fashioned from recycled materials, are very much in demand. This year, Better Homes & Gardens featured Lee in an entire chapter of their annual Santa Claus Collections book.
