Michael Sosin’s work reflects his love of glass and his unique ability to translate a specific world viewpoint in a piece or a series. Hence his small pitchers may reflect a Venetian influence or his wabi-sabi bowls an eastern aesthetic. Michael has studied and taught at the University of California at Berkeley. He has also studied at this country’s finest glass schools including the California College of Arts and Crafts, Penland in North Carolina, Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle and Haystack in Maine.
