James “Buddy” Snipes is a rural Alabama handyman-turned-artist. Using bits of recycled metal, wood, string and paint, Buddy creates paintings and assemblages that are coveted by folk art collectors. His is a diverse and unique body of work, ranging from metal cuttings to painted animal bones
