Cohn-Stone Studio: Michael Cohn and Molly Stone

Cohn-Stone Studio, located in California’s Bay area, is the collaboration of glass artists Michael Cohn and Molly Stone. And together they make such beautiful glass! Both have studied at the Pilchuck Glass School where Michael has also taught glassmaking. Molly has studied at Orrefors in Sweden, and both have a list of museum and corporate acquisitions that is worldwide and totally impressive. The tortoise pieces listed below are signature Cohn-Stone pieces. They developed from Michael’s considerable creativity in a four-step process that creates the luminous gold interior of each piece and then the marvelous tortoise exterior that is undeniably elegant in any setting.
